What data we process
The scope of data depends on your relationship with us. We do not collect data we do not need to complete a transaction or meet a legal obligation.
Phone and email contact
Name, phone number, email address and the content of your enquiry — to the extent you provide it.
Customers and business partners
Company data, contact persons, VAT ID, addresses, BDO numbers, settlement data and transaction history.
Scrap suppliers — private individuals
Data required when accepting waste, including identification data and data from an ID document, to the extent required by the Waste Act.
Hauliers and drivers
Data necessary to carry out transport, booking and issuing transport documents.
Website
Technical browser data and IP address recorded in server logs and — subject to consent — anonymous visit statistics.

Purposes and legal bases
We process data solely for purposes connected with our business — the purchase, processing and sale of metal scrap and the provision of transport services.
Performance of a contract
Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR — acceptance and valuation of scrap, sale of charge, organisation of transport, complaint handling.
Legal obligations
Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR — waste records and waste transfer notes in the BDO system, tax and accounting obligations.
Legitimate interest
Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — business contact, pursuing and defending claims, safety of people and property at our yards.
Consent
Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR — website visit statistics and commercial information, if you ask for it.

How long we keep data
Accounting and tax documentation is kept for 5 years from the end of the year in which the tax obligation arose. Waste records are kept for the period required by waste legislation.
Contact details of people with whom no transaction was concluded are deleted no later than one year after the last contact. Data processed on the basis of consent — until consent is withdrawn.

Who we share data with
We do not sell data and do not share it with third parties for marketing purposes. We share it only where necessary to complete a transaction or where required by law.
Accounting office
Bookkeeping and tax settlements.
IT service providers
Website hosting, email, warehouse and weighbridge systems.
Hauliers
Carrying out collection and delivery — limited to data needed for the carriage.
Public authorities
The Marshal of the Voivodeship, the Environmental Protection Inspectorate, tax authorities and other authorised bodies — on the basis of law.
Foreign buyers
When selling charge outside the European Economic Area we transfer only the contact data needed for delivery and customs clearance.

Your rights
You have the right to access your data, to rectify, erase or restrict its processing, the right to data portability and the right to object to processing based on our legitimate interest. You may withdraw consent at any time — this does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.
If you believe we process data unlawfully, you may lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office, ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw, Poland.
Providing data is voluntary but in some cases necessary — without the data required when accepting waste we cannot complete the purchase, and without settlement data we cannot issue sales documents.
